About Canoe Marathon WCH 2024
The Croatian Canoe Federation, in partnership with the town of Metkovic and the local rowing club Neretvanski Gusar, extends a warm invitation to all National Federations to return to Croatia for another exciting canoe Marathon event.
This time, we are thrilled to host the 2024 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships in Metkovic, Croatia.
Building on the success of the 2018 and 2023 European Championships, our enthusiasm is high as we prepare to organize the most extensive and memorable World Championships to date. These events not only highlight the growth and evolution of the sport but also foster a sense of unity among athletes, fans, and communities worldwide.
It’s essential to bear in mind that this competition is qualifying event for the 2025 World Games in Chengdu. More information will be available in Bulletin 2.
